New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
@Maisse51089073 I think he made a deliberate decision not to be mad. He could sense that Shane would blow up and probably damage his friendship with Hayden, so he decided to diffuse the situation by being chill. He also didn’t want to put Shane in the awkward position of having to choose a side
@DeeLaSheeArt Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think anyone should be policing how their partner spends money and calling it irresponsible without a good justification. For me that was a good enough reason to breakup beyond the fact that neither of them can compromise.
This isn’t true. I’ve lived in 2 cities outside London with buses that have 2 doors. And not all buses need two doors. It depends on passenger demand. On routes with fewer commuters, a single door is fine, as the flow of passengers is lower. Two doors makes sense on busier routes
This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽♀️
Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.
