I watched my wife slowly increase in size as the baby inside her grew. I saw her writhe in pain during the early stages, as her body tried to adjust to the new reality.
I watched her go from eating moderately to having a large appetite because she had to feed the little thing growing inside her.
I saw how difficult it was for her to get out of bed at night; she could no longer lie belly down and had to choose a side to lay on always.
She went from walking like my super model to having an awkward gait. She rolled, cried, yelled, pinched, and lost her head.
