@TURBOPOSSUM I should add, we grow most of our food including the meat. It tastes better and momma's cooking is second to none. I'd rather eat at home!
@TURBOPOSSUM When I'm on the road I eat out. It's on the company I work for. As a family, we eat out on Sundays with our church family. Sometimes on the night when the kids have kung fu 2 hours away from home.
Other than that momma cooks.
As a kid we hardly ever ate out. We were poors.
This will be a 12*18 mobile chicken coop.
Any tips as we progress with the project? Nesting boxes will be in the middle approximately 3 feet off the ground.
Roosting bars will slope in from the sides. Hardware cloth floor. Steel sides and roof.
Here's the thing. It may look like we don't dress our kids cause we don't. From a young age they have been given autonomy to pick what they want.
For church today just happens to be a bow tie and camo pants on one, and a rainbow tutu with pants underneath for another.
@EquipProChina I have 72+ more plants under grow lamps. They will be a few weeks behind, but I think it will be OK.
The freeze got my blueberry plants too.
It was a rough night!
New saw day.
I needed something between the DeWalt electric chainsaw and Stihl 029. The Stihl has the hot start challenges, but runs like a scalded dog. It's also alot heavier.
It will be nice to have a middle sized tool.
@yngfarmpreneur We have 8 miles of fence we need to run. Also need equipment to mow and bale our own hay. Part of our long term sustainability plan is growing extra hay for other homesteaders.
We've made due with minimal equipment for years. Biggest need is a small loader tractor.
