@SecondGentleman We are honored to have blessed the Second Family's residence and inspired by your decision to ask The Temple for our mezuzah in recognition of our unique, historic and continued involvement with civil rights and social justice.
For us, and for everyone, Thanksgiving is a time for reflection on the past year. One of my favorite memories was when our family visited and together we hung a mezuzah on the front door of the Vice President’s Residence.
Rabbi Berg had the honor of blessing the Second Family’s residence in a ceremony w/ the family, hanging our mezuzah on the front door. We are inspired by their decision to ask us for it in recognition of our unique, historic & cont. involvement w/ civil rights & social justice.
“@Ossoff will be sworn in using a book of Hebrew scripture once owned by Rabbi Jacob Rothschild, who led Atlanta’s historic synagogue The Temple...”
The rabbi was a key MLK ally who encouraged ATL’s Jewish community to fight for civil rights and oppose hate & intolerance. #gasen

The Rothschild Social Justice Institute @the_templeatl is deeply concerned about HB481 and its deadly impact for Georgia women, in a state with the worst record on maternal mortality in the country. We urge @BrianKempGA and @GaHouseHub to vote no or abstain on this bill.
