I shared my thoughts about Lawless (Kenless 😂😅) in my latest reaction and there were some interesting theories I read in my video and have since seen in the comments.

If the concept I read is true, then it’s definitely interesting / creative. However I do think there was a bit of a missed opportunity, especially since Lolla will for sure have brought in new fans.

Andddddd I just would have loved for him to have a verse in the song like normal. That’s the missing piece for me.

Regardless I do love the song, it’s a fricken bop! And I hope we get more clarity soon 🔥🔥🔥

Lawless mv is the liberated sibling of VISA mv. Very unapologetic and unconventional the overall aesthetic is so satisfying. I like the lyrics and the arrangement too by radkidz and 1032lab are such creative geniuses.

However, it is seriously hard to ignore the elephant in the room. Bakit apat na members lang sa ‘group’ shots at hindi kasali si ken suson? Lima ang sb19, diba? It was disturbing to watch as an OT5 fan. It stirred up an unnecessary drama within the fandom. Hindi niyo mapipigilan na hanapin yan siya and the collective disappointment must not be easily dismissed lalo na with the sisiws and fstans. As a sisiw, my guard is up and bias protection mode is set if this escalates even further considering the extent of the issue. If it was to happen to any member, malamang may rants din yan and i think it is okay to ask the right questions as long as the motive is not to foster any nonsense hate train.

If we put it in a premise na intentional yan within the concept or storyline, siguro poor lang ng execution. It could have been better without inviting an impending backlash. I’ve been reading a lot of theories most of it ay possible “valid” reasons—understood the points pero parang gaslight nalang rin eh. Tama na okay na yan. Habang yung iba naman hindi ko alam anong thought process na pampelikula ang lala pa rin ng stigma kay ken noh? And that’s another pandora’s box. Hay.

Lalo lang mago-overthink ang lahat unless there will be an explanation from the team. I hope they will look on this matter kasi deserve naman siguro maliwanagan ng lahat. ✌️

To be honest, disappointed din ako sa nangyayari. I don't know kung ano ang plan nila, pero I feel like instead of celebrating their Lollapalooza success, na-overshadow tuloy because of that "Kenless" song. Instead of seeing posts about how proud everyone is of their performance, nahaluan ng questions, confusion, and disappointment.

I admit, hindi na ako excited sa song. Isang beses ko lang pinanood ang MV, tapos nawalan na ako ng gana.

I just hope we get enlightened soon kung bakit ganun ang ni-release nila, right after Lolla, when people are most curious about the group. Tapos kulang pa ng isa sa new song at MV. Parang off lang talaga siya for me.
