Now that I think about it, not a terrible move for teams to leave a little bit of real estate in their schedule for 1-2 games so they can make a calculated move based on their needs later on.

Brilliant move by @GBurgBase and @rcnj_baseball scheduling a “NPI Game”. The @NJACSports and @CentennialConf tournaments wrap up before most others so both teams are looking to sweep and boost their NPI for a postseason push. A sweep from either could punch a ticket.

If I had a hitter in the cage struggling with high pitches, I’d simplify it to:
•Win posture early
•Tight turn (no reaching)
•Slightly flatter path
•Contact a touch more out front
•Keep moving through the ball

Drill ideas:
1. High Tee
2. Velo machine up in zone
3. Short bat
