@jxnlco I'm not fully sure whether Codex uses the same search stack as ChatGPT, or whether it relies more on tools from my local environment (+network)
no "real" open source work, just sharing an electron app I (droid) built on top of droid sdk. not as complete as I'd like but it, at least, lets me easily browse all existing droid sessions https://t.co/T4Dl31xCdo
ps: skip adding me to "contestants" list since I'm very happy using byok in droid.
@0xSero I assume you might be using it in Droid? If so, have you noticed any lag in the past days? I somtimes even get some 500 errors on it (using the openai chat protocol)
@trillhause_ No local run is kinda a deal-breaker.
A lot of people already have custom local MCP servers or network-protected APIs, looks like this doesn't fit in worklayer setup.
it actually looks great! I don't try to minimize the work here. I've actually built my own flavour which also brings tldraw features (I like to organize and brain dump a lot, so that helps).
where I'm getting: I see the need and everyone seems to be wanting more or less this kind of experience, so I'm really excited to see some community favorites soon.
@jasonkneen@LLMJunky@theo everyone seems to be building a flavor of an infinite canvas app with terminals/agents/etc over the weekend. interested to see which one will actually rise up to be a community standard/favorite
