@YankeesUnivers1@Yankees_Avenue Exactly. So I’m not sure why people keep expecting him to suddenly be a good hitter when he’s had 3 (almost 4) years now to “figure it out”.
@Christi91883608@TalkinYanks Sad part is whenever I’ve complained about Weathers, I was told by a ton of casuals that he’s the greatest of all time pretty much whenever he’d have a rare good outing.
@TheKid5792@TalkinYanks Don’t say that to the casual Yankee fans. They’ll just tell you how good he is and tell you to look at his underlying numbers. I watched him in person back in April when he got lit up by the Angels and have had PTSD every time hes pitched since lmao.
@Gigi200221@BarnHasSpoken2@FiresideYankees Yep complete one dimensional offense. It’s sad how bad their numbers offensively are without him. When Judge is 100% healthy and hitting, this offense all of a sudden is the best in baseball. It makes no sense to be completely honest.
@Gigi200221@BarnHasSpoken2@FiresideYankees Yep, and we won’t get any answers to our questions, unfortunately. The thing that sucks with Judge is this team continues to hide these players injuries till the last possible second, leaving us as fans very suspicious that a player is definitely going to the IL.
@Gigi200221@BarnHasSpoken2@FiresideYankees Especially with Judge possibly heading to the IL, they’re completely screwed. At least we know why Judge wasn’t hitting though. However, we don’t have an answer on why Wells can’t hit a baseball to save his life.
