AJ Styles questions WWE losing experienced talent as of late:

“WWE seems to be moving in a different direction as far as younger talent. So to me, that sounds like that’s the direction that we’re going. It’s time to get out the old, get in the new.

Doesn’t mean that’s always a good thing because you need experience to be really good in this wrestling business. You need that experience. Very few can get in here within a couple years and understand what it’s like and what you need to be a top star.

So I don’t know how well this is gonna work out in the end because you’re losing a lot of experienced talent.”

AJ Styles speaks on New Day and Motor City Machine Guns being released by WWE.

“I love those boys [New Day]. That’s all I can tell you. I love them. I think somebody’s about to get something good. I love these boys [Motor City Machine Guns], too. It’s difficult because I want to see them do well because they work really hard… I have so much respect for these two tag teams and know what they’re capable of. I don’t know if it was the smartest decision letting those two tag teams go. I don’t know. I can tell you I wouldn’t bet that it was a smart decision. I am biased. Two guys that I’ve known forever in Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, and then Austin Creed, who I have literally known for over two decades. We go way back. And Kofi is such an awesome dude. I can’t say enough good things about these four guys. They’re amazing. I hope they kill it because I love these guys. Those are my boys. I freaking want to see them do well.”

“What?

Well, I think these guys are more than capable of having a regular match for the money. I think they can be super entertaining. I’m not exactly sure how the money on a pole match is gonna come out. It’s a difficult match to freaking try to tell.

How many times have we done this? But I think there’s a reason why we don’t do it a lot. So, let’s see what happens. This has a chance, though, to be very entertaining.”
