Today is Bloomsday, the day of which James Joyce's 'Ulysses' is set, 16 June 1904. A plaque in Rue de l'Odéon, Paris, marks the site of Shakespeare & Company, the bookshop where Sylvia Beach published it in 1922. The building is now a high end fashion shop.
