It's insane to think that we hit 100K so soon. We started off this year with 35K followers and in 4 and a half months we practically have tripled.

The Blender community is such a wonderful and supportive group of people too - can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

[Blenderstreet @Blenderstreet]

We just hit 100K followers on Instagram!!

Thank you guys so much for the support over the last few months! We're only getting started.

We've gotten a fresh new look, a website, blog, and newsletter launched, and many more things planned.

For those that don't know, I've started a toilet paper company. Just thought my dormant x account followers should know.

I've created my own social media focussed digital agency @GetInAgency_ 🥳

It's been an incredibly exciting (and nerve-racking) few weeks setting it all up. Feeling very blessed to already have a handful of clients trusting us with their projects.

Lots more to come 🙌

It’s a good day to be a blackmagic fanboy haha.

They’ve gone and done it with a box style camera. But the 12K Cine and 17K cine ursa’s are insane.

🥲 going to need to start saving.

[Alan Lavery @thealanlavery]

Just heard a radio advert for an esports 6th form course… kind of wild to hear it marketed like that.

“Don’t know what to do after you GCSE’s? Esports production course could be for you, even join our very own esports team!”

Proper sensationalism

[Alan Lavery @thealanlavery]

RED's been a thorn in the camera industry suing pretty much everybody introducing internal C-RAW (as they hold a patent for it, which is like holding a patent for bottled water).

The fact that Nikon has bought out RED a year after RED sued them for this, is such a power move.

[Alan Lavery @thealanlavery]

@robertoblake From one attack angle yes, however scammers operate through various channels. Health scams, Romance scams, Charity fraud, Education fraud to name a few. A true minimalist might be materialistically safe from manipulation, but there's other human emotions that are manipulable.

@katyleyre @autumnal_knight I think it's the kind of film that needs to be experienced on the big screen. It feels more like an experience than a movie in cinemas, it was mesmerizing.

To be fair Story wise it only covers 1 half of the first book(of 5). So you could treat Dune 1 + 2 as one long movie.

@sourfraser @dvdaltizer I did hear the desktop app was better, but I didn't feel much of a difference using it myself, perhaps I configured it wrong.

[Alan Lavery @thealanlavery]

@sourfraser @dvdaltizer All video isn't equal. Drive is fine for social compressed formats. When a single RAW clip is 260GB G-drive is not fit for purpose. Extremely slow in my uses.

We-transfer is an affordable middle ground.

https://t.co/KFOozYWB3X is the gold standard but expensive.

[Alan Lavery @thealanlavery]

@sourfraser @dvdaltizer Maybe I'm biased as I work with video, but I'd rather ship someone a hardrive than use google drive. Try uploading 1Tb without waiting a couple weeks. Yet wetransfer, still long at a few hours, at-least does it within the day.
