@PubRockVersion@FitzContent@Mykuhl MItre 10 in NZ is a completely separate company to Australia Mitre 10. Always ran separately as an NZ Co-op, but pulled the brand share separately approx 2011 too. Mitre 10 in AU is a corporate now, they tried the Mega format after Mitre 10 nz but it did not work out for them.
@MAGAsaurus45_47@reubensilby@Infideliter2022 I think friendly with some kind of brand-share agreement but otherwise pretty separate even before then, but fully severed when Aussie Mitre 10 changed from co-op to corporate. Interesting how different they are - small player in Australia, biggest by a small margin in NZ.
@MAGAsaurus45_47@reubensilby@Infideliter2022 Look closer :) Mitre 10 is a New Zealand owned co-op. There does also happen to be a hardware store chain in Australia also called Mitre 10 - shared origins, but they've always been separate companies and have become very different to each other over the years.
@J_Shepz @ChrisKeall Except 15 years ago they had to launch it without complicating business & consumer focus on their core offer. Now they could act bolder & move faster - and meet an actual consumer need rather than chasing ad-tech & drop-shipping to the bottom.
@AnthonyTeasdale@zero7official Love this, if i recall correctly, it's perfect for a looooong & slow mix into Falling by Julee Cruise for the chill out wind down session.
@PaulBrislen Indian English. This one I picked up from a few work colleagues, great people too; which may have influenced that I like using it occasionally.
@PaulBrislen What if I'm reverting the thing back to being in a state of not needing attention.
: I've answered your questions and it has now reverted back to not being on my task list.
@StinkInk Have been loving this, and today discovered that "Sam Morton" is THE Samantha Morton (plus the ever XLent Richard Russell).
Kinda trippy unexpected for some reason.
