I will only start an own ecom brand in the Indian market when I am 100% sure it meets the following criteria to the T
1. No COD, only fully settled prepaid orders
2. No returns & refunds policy - only when there is actual video inboxing proof of a defective product.
3. Not more than 1 product and not more than 2 variations/SKUs - so that I don’t have to manage inventory across the board
4. No need to run paid ads. Only option is to opt-in into email and WhatsApp/sms list where you get notified when their is a limited time drop
5. No marketplaces listing at only. D2C is the only channel. No physical retail as well.
Can you guys suggest what can be sold:marketed:branded under these terms?
I don’t think BLUORNG does any COD orders.
On top of doing only prepaid orders, it sells out its inventory within mins
Now that’s a true breed of a hype brand.
You can’t replicate the success of it. It’s 1 of 1 in apparel and it’s done.
Too many Indians think the world runs on academic performances, educational pedigree etc. nah bud, wake up. Whoever adds the most value in the most convenient form to the society wins it all. Even if he is or was a chai wala. Period.
I don’t care what it takes to clear a CA exam. All I know is I run a biz and need to employ a CA to do my accounts and taxes. If he gets things done, get the work. If he can’t then no matter he be a ranker, I don’t want him. Real world doesn’t run on academic performances. Cheers buddy and don’t pakao me at all. Like pls?
the link clicks to view % is extremely low for all brands out there anyway. It doesn’t even matter because you are not paying for clicks, you are paying for impressions in auctions and your budget will be spend anyway.
You might as well take advantage of this new feature that is browsing products because of the instant load time. It creates awareness even in those who couldn’t wait for the website/PDP to load.
I don’t think Meta would have launched this without proper assessment of its impact on brands. The stakes are high on meta these days being a publicly listed company.
Big change coming to Meta
If you see a drop in link clicks to landing page views %, then this might be the reason
Meta will introduce a product-browsing step in between that shows products from your catalog when they click on ad before loading the website
We are considering to opt-out across brands until full clarity is there

Most millennials are only now discovering the red flags of a modern women when it’s time to get married in their 30s. I discovered this back when I was only 21 and went on an absolute rampage to date every chick I could get. Why? 1. Because you can always get better 2. Because no modern woman is a keeper (rare) and 3. Because why not!?
