Victims are being forced to pay thousands to read the transcript of the trial in which they were a part.

On Tuesday, the House of Lords will vote on proposals to cut those costs and I hope that all parties will come together to support the measures.

In 2017, Labour Party MP, David Lammy said: “all sentencing remarks in the Crown court should be published in audio and/or written form.”

Despite the review @UKLabour have not yet given any sign that the party will be supporting victims by backing the amendment….
