On pure talent alone I would disagree. 2014 had the likes of Chicharito, Giovani dos Santos, Hector Herrera and Andres Guardado. core players started regularly for elite English, Spanish, and German clubs. 2006 the likes of Rafael Marquez, Jared Borgetti, Pavel great backbone, led by Barcelona's starting center-back Marquez. What I will say has been a major boost for this Mexican team is home advantage the altitude of the Azteca is over 7000 feet. Not to mention the crowd in the stadium. Altitude is a big factor for athletes. Where I live now is over 5000 feet in altitude when I just moved it was a struggle to breath a simple walk made me gasp for air. That’s why they haven’t loss their since 2013. I believe they will beat England though. British players aren’t use to the heat and the altitude so it will be a struggle for them.
