Something I’ve been thinking of:
Routine days are comfortable, but also reduces your chances of running into opportunities.
Luck requires exposure. Exposure requires movement. And movement means deliberately breaking your own pattern: weekly, daily, relentlessly. More side quests, till opportunity has somewhere to find you.
Your biggest battles are not outside.
They are inside your mind.
When confusion comes, pause.
When fear comes, focus.
When pressure comes, stay disciplined.
The mind that refuses to surrender will eventually find a way.
Guard your thoughts.
Your future is being built there.
Good morning. Keep moving. 🚀
Good morning, great people.😊🫂
Protect your peace relentlessly. Guard your mind, energy and space from chaos. Walk away from anything that disturbs your calm.
Peace is priceless. Preserve it at all costs.
A few thoughts about this as someone who lost this exact kind of salary a few months ago.
1. Avoid big fish clients.
As I learned from my coach @OlamideTowobola, you should never allow one client to make more then 40-50% of your total income.
Even if you get "lucky" and get a huge contract, don't get carried away. Make sure you have enough bandwidth to still keep applying for jobs.
2. Always keep prospecting.
No matter how occupied you are, always keep prospecting. Make it a part of your weekly goals to send at least 1 cold DM or apply for a gig on upwork.
You can then decide to reject or outsource later, but always remain prospecting
3. Start building something.
For a long time, I neglected building my personal brand. I had beeb making over 7 figures for about 3 years, before I started talking on Twitter.
However, I realize now, that having a brand, being known for something, isjust as important as the "job" or gig you have.
If all you can build is a personal brand, start building it.
As you get good, start looking into building an agency. That's what I am doing right now.
Start with an assistant, then one person that can do what you do so you can outsource to them
The goal is to free yourself up till all you are doing is prospecting and closing.
One of these days, I will talk a bit more about leverage, but for now, let me stop here.
It’s crazy how much value you can gain just by staying curious and actually enjoying the process.
Learning doesn’t have to be boring—if you’re into a topic, digging deeper becomes fun.
And the more you learn, the more you realize how little you actually know. That’s what pushes you to keep going.
Even just listening to other people’s stories can teach you more than you expect.
I always recommend exploring as many topics as possible—
you never know what skill or insight will be useful down the road.
Your knowledge is your biggest asset.
Invest in it constantly.
When you are about to breakthrough with what you are doing is when the enemy presents a Trojan horse ( distractions dressed as opportunities) so you can drift.
Or you face temporary setbacks that cause you to quit.
Don't drift, don't lose focus, don't give up.
Building wealth isn’t just about making money.
If your only strategy is “earn more,” you’ll likely stay stuck in the cycle.
Take this from someone who's been there and done that.
How Do You Make People Desire Something?
By using at least 3 of these 5 below:
(1) You give it value - (via packaging, demonstration of high value, authority display)
(2) You show that others like it (Social proof)
(3) You make it scarce (Scarcity, limited)
(4) And you make them work or pay a high price for it.
(5) Show them tons of impressions of the thing.
Apple understands that. Now you know it too.
When you are too close to a problem, you may not see the solution because the struggle and pain blind you, or you may be the best person to solve it.
When you are far away from a problem, you may have a better perspective or be utterly ignorant of the details.
You need to know
