Undulating waves are a recurring theme in Pia Krajewski’s oeuvre, seen here in detail here in one of her latest works. This element can be seen as a continuation of the visual language established in earlier works that were shown last year as part of “Sight and Touch” in Mi
This mirrored ball in Ana Elisa Egreja’s latest work is a common fixture in Barragán houses, used to give visibility to all corners of the room, and references Dutch still-lifes when they were placed as a way for the artist to include a self-portrait within the composition.
We're so happy to see these two works by Pia Krajewski looking right at home in this beautiful living room.

"Eppur Si Muove" at the Japanisches Palais, SKD Museum featuring David Czupryn will be open until the 25th of September. His work "Gold" highlights the bright sunny weather in Rome and important figures from art history, including Ettore Sottsass and Alexander Calder.
In this work Cerutti depicts two figures placed in an expansive setting representing the divide between Heaven and Earth. Both the setting and composition remind the viewer of the story of St. Christopher, patron saint of travellers.

‘Flexors III’ (2016) is the last of Cerutti’s trio; the staff carefully balanced, the ladder not fully extended, the book frayed, and the blanket folded yet not flat — all imply a life of use and movement.

In his depiction of a daily ritual in "La Folla", Manuele Cerutti suspends time, inviting the viewer into the stillness of the present moment, between cups of coffee.
