11 Civilians were burnt down and killed by SAC military in Salingyi township, Sagaing. More #CrimesAgainstHumanity are being committed on a daily basis by SAC while @UN and @ASEAN are totally useless.

I living in a country #myanmar where military aka armed terrorists have been taking crimes including today car-ramming into the crowd of peaceful protestors.
And the #UN already allegedly dictated by some countries with veto power is ridiculously ignoring these forms of crimes.
This dead body of the old man, wearing UN emblem T-Shirt, is also an image/a reflection of the failure of the United Nations to effectively protect the lives of civilians.

Today I briefed the General Assembly in New York about the ongoing violence in Myanmar. I told the UN Member States:“Time is of the essence. When we look back in 10 years, we should not regret having missed an opportunity to put this country back on the path of democracy“.
Here is a translation of my message about the Myanmar junta's assault and abduction of Man Zar Myay Mon and other human rights defenders who are under siege for standing up for the rights of the people of Myanmar.
