“To a disciple who was forever complaining about others, the Master said, ‘If it is peace you want, seek to change yourself, not other people. It is easier to protect your feet with slippers than to carpet the whole of the earth.’”

@ItsKieranDrew Hoping for something to happen (GOAL) will leave you demoralized.
Instead fall in love with the PROCESS (SYSTEM)
It's the SYSTEM that inevitably leads to the GOAL.
Overall, House of the Dragon did very good with the first season. Maybe I'm biased because I watched the TV series first.
I can't wait for the second season to come around so I can join the other book readers gripe about how the show deviates from the book.
Fire and Blood is the easiest book of G.R.R Martin I've read so far.
I think House of the Dragon did a very good job in the portrayal of the character and events.
These are the few issues I found with the series (Spoiler Alert):
-Another thing, how is Seasmoke gonna be claimed during the Red Sowing when Laenor is still alive in the series.
Dragons can't be claimed when their previous riders are still alive. It is known.
It didn't end well for Joffery when he rode his mom's dragon.
