@AshleyEhTaylor@martycus@MarkJCarney We have an extensive railway system. Both CN and CP transport all the way to the coasts as well as right to Mexico.
We have a world class road system.
And I know a bunch of Greeks with ships capable of transporting globally.
I live in the middle of the oil patch, so I know shit
@AshleyEhTaylor@martycus@MarkJCarney Yes but Canada has a surplus of 400,000 barells a day refining.
I don't care about what you're talking about.
Canada has more than enough refining capacity to supply itself.
That my point.
That's the only point I'm making and the only point that matters.
@AshleyEhTaylor@martycus@MarkJCarney I assume all we export to them.
Their refineries are set up to refine our crude..
I just asked google and it gave me the number I posted.
I know that right by my business I've watched tankers going into the US from the Regina refinery to Minot.
10's a day
A friend drove the route
@AshleyEhTaylor@martycus@MarkJCarney Canada has a surplus refining capacity of 400,000 barells of oil per day.
Canada doesn't need the refining capacity you speak of.
It's just more convenient to bring it in from the States.
It's that convenience that has us in the position we're in.
Price is dictated by the market
@murds72@IanC19si83 When I lived in Edmonton it was the last year of the Trappers. Then it was a huge vaacum for a while.
I hope the riverhawks are doing well.
Haven't been back since 2009.
@AlanRMacLeod You'll know Canada is serious about negotiating with the US when we pull out the Timbits World Peace Medal.
Once he gets one of those he'll make sure we get preferred treatment on tariffs.
@GreeceIceHockey@NHLRumourReport Actually you're the ΞΞ±ΟΞ±Ξ³ΞΊΞΉΟΞΆΞ·.
If you think that Canada is the problem.
I don't have TDS.
You're in a cult.
I deal in reality.
I have no interest in the US.
Even when offered to move there, chose not to.
But the good news, if you don't like Canada, move.
Canada is better w/o you
@GreeceIceHockey@NHLRumourReport So it's been a week or so.
ΞΟΟΞ½Ξ·ΟΞ΅Ο.
In one week we've seen Trump interference in the World cup, and all the statements that Brady has been planning this for a couple of years.
Damn. I guess it was an excuse to use the political landscape as a reason.
Damn you're just st*pid
@alanvcurran@CoopTory Oh it happens in the US as well as other countries too.
In the US it's usually never big public news because of a lawsuit and the terms of that lawsuit.
But hey, it's easy to blame a system that is now at its breaking point due to miss use and over capacity.
@RingOfFireCGY People don't understand is the lack of interest with these sports networks in markets outside of Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
Before McDavid, Edmonton and Calgary were looking into jointly building their own broadcasting system to cover the 2 teams.
If 97 leaves AB, its over.
