Honestly, I’m disappointed. In our halcyon days Twitter would have milked a week off of Kissinger memes and now it feels over on X after four hours. I think it’s over.
No one tell Jimmy Carter about outliving Henry Kissinger, I bet he’ll still have a good year plus of spite survival in him if he thinks Henry’s still alive
@offensiveloons Paul as Nigel, Elton as David, Garth as Derek, and the original cast as drummers who die in inexplicable circumstances each related to specific details on the Smell The Glove cover
I mean this sincerely and with both examples like this and modest experience from talking to them: the average player isn’t that smart and certainly watches less MLS than you’d expect.
Drop by the picket line and show your support to folks who make your Allianz experience possible. @MNUFC can afford $12,000 a year to pay for their workers’ healthcare costs.
🧵 Today we strike. For 7 months, we have bargained with @MNUFC for our first contract. The team has repeatedly stalled and shown no interest in bargaining a fair deal. We feel we have not been take seriously.
The club has parted ways with Head Coach Adrian Heath. Assistant Coach Sean McCauley will serve as Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the 2023 MLS campaign.

Seven years managing a soccer team in this era is an eternity and typically requires dynasty level success. Heath hasn’t had great investment, but he’s had the mandate to make MNUFC in his image. An Open Cup final and a Conference final aren’t enough to have justified seven years

Heath and Watson had been with MNUFC since inaugural 2017 season. Made the playoffs last four years.

On the night where the most mediocre white guy that ever lived had his pet project fullback give up two goals before watching the center mid he forced via substitution to center back give up a goal within two possessions, I salute @MNUFC for giving VRJ a grand on Heath’s behalf.
Win or lose, @gobellbanks and #MNUFC are committed to supporting our community on each and every MLS gameday. While we did not select a Man of the Match this evening, $1000 will still be donated to a local nonprofit: Voices For Racial Justice.
@collinsolberg It’s not MNUFC’s lack of spending. It’s a lack of doing anything particularly well in roster building, like an academy (Philly, Dallas, etc), or cornering the MLS scrap heap (STL), or drafting a starter each year (Orlando, NER for a while), or even actually spending money.
