Last year my shoulder wasn’t recovering between outings. We kinda did our best, didn’t do much imaging, and it eventually “resolved” itself enough I could continue throwing.
This year it returned, and the Mets instantly flew me across the country for intensive tests and images and diagnosed the problem - arterial TOS. 95% of the blood meant to flow down into my arm was being stopped at the shoulder.
It’s now completely fixed and my shoulder has never felt better. But for being so diligent the Mets will get dinged on this chart for having more IL days compared to if we just nursed it along well enough to get by.

If you’re curious how this is playing in Texas, it’s on all the local news and my hygienist and dentist spent 15 mins talking about it during my root canal. Everyone’s worried about beef prices.
401(k) hardship withdrawals are rare, but they spike when Americans’ saving and income don’t cover their expenses.
Since 2020, Vanguard data shows they have more than tripled.
