One of the nurses staring was the one we eventually saw after 7 hours. I told her how upset I was about what happened, she didn’t even acknowledge it. She then said to just give him fluids for his vomiting, I asked about all of his other symptoms…

Sat in A&E last night at the RVI Newcastle for 7 hrs with my baby who’d had breathing problems. For 5 hrs he sat covered in his own vomit. He choked on his own vomit at one point and I went to get help from staff who blankly stared at me. Told after 7 hr wait to give him fluids
