I think my favorite part of next-day election tweets is all the super classy people happy with the outcome just proving that the UCP base is, as expected, proving themselves to be complete and utter trash.
Screaming into the void, begging you to vote.
Preferably NDP. Because Danielle Smith is cuckoo for coco puffs and the UCP clearly suck, as demonstrated by the last few years in this increasing hellscape.
@RedtheCat4 @annajohn A few years ago, a dear friend’s ex-wife died. I knew her to be miserable, narcissistic, snide, and generally unpleasant.
Many people I encountered had an entirely different experience with her, especially in years past.
She may not be a loss to you. But she is to others.
@leyohs @hfuriouss @KristenFink6@RuthWareWriter@GrantGinder Did you pull a muscle with that stretch?
I don’t understand why people have an issue with the fact I think it’s wrong students here were effectively attempting to give themselves an unauthorized extension.
@playsbyme @hfuriouss @KristenFink6@RuthWareWriter@GrantGinder You submit work, you’re indicating it’s done and you’ve met the deadline. You don’t get to try to keep working.
If you need an accommodation like an extension, you talk to the prof before the deadline.
@playsbyme @hfuriouss @KristenFink6@RuthWareWriter@GrantGinder We’re talking specifically about students who have submitted work and are continuing to work on it through Google docs after that submission. So chill. I’m generalizing about a specific circumstance.
@LA_Knight89@RobSummer …what?
Seriously, what?
A deadline is set. Unless a student says something, prof will stick to that deadline. How is the responsibility on anyone but the student to speak up if the deadline is an issue?

Would also fit the category “which authors merit a trip to Indigo on release day.”
In the chance any of you see this…thanks for the words. Books have always been my best friends.
@LA_Knight89 Sure, but they’re reasonable based on the tweet in question.
He’s talking about university students that have handed in “completed” assignments and are still working on them.
They’ve decided the deadline doesn’t matter to them. Which is ridiculous.
