@RadioCanadaInfo Teachers that tried to speak up had their contracts not renewed and others just simply quit. I did send complaints to the school, school district, superintendent, school board and even the BC Minister of Education. Our experience ended when our house was set on fire. To this day
@RadioCanadaInfo This school story shocked me and at the same time validated my own family's experience of dealing with a click. For 7 years, our school ostracized, defamed, discriminated, and pushed out my kids and me and my husband. part 2 continue...
@j_mcelroy this is what happen when you decide to shut your community down , refuse to answer any questions, refuse to consult, lack of transparency, condescendence toward your constituents. when power goes into your head ! our town is in crisis. The people kept in the dark :(
@HamWilder@j_mcelroy council has decided that will not not answer any public input questions and will not consult the residents on major borrowing (biggest in Tahsis history) mayor stated that "residents already exercise their democratic power and that they have been elected to run" no consultations.
@GBosecker@cbcnewsbc we took our children out of school due to you and your wife actions against our family. what you just said is a lie and you will have to defend this comment in court . Never have i been told such things . But i wouldn't expect any less coming from you .
@GBosecker@cbcnewsbc grant was clearly define as a covid relief to create new job/ re-employment of a local .Miss Fowler took upon herself to change the purpose of the grant as she clearly stated in a podcast with mla . 4500$ per benches and 12k+ /shelters! the bid was 15 pages / 2 week to reply!
@cbcnewsbc the same councilor (Fowler) who lost it on a child at a local dance class and had to do a program to help with her impulsivity ! the same that took over the local parent advisory council and change the bylaws to forbid discussions and made parents sign contract to be a member!
@cbcnewsbc Councilor Fowler councilor use a covid recovery grant that was supposed to go to create a local job or re-employed local and took upon herself to use the $ to build benches and bus shelters for 85k ! and gave the contract to another town ! 1/3 town is on food subsidy.
A village council meeting on Vancouver Island erupted into chaos last night, with people screaming at each other and one councillor stealing a gavel. Justin McElroy has the details.

@cbcnewsbc This story barely touched to surface of the issues in our community. This is not a conflict among residents, but a continuous disrespect from our council and CAO toward resident. misuse of $ , no public consultation ,over spending and negligence etc.. dig deeper without bias :(
