I'm not a self help guru. I am not some personal development expert. No, I don't have all the answers for you.
Heck I've probably read less books about personal development, productivity and growth than most of you.
So what makes me fit to write about these stuff?

Stop complaining and start playing.
Life is a game but that game is not fair.
Life is never fair.
Until you accept this and change how you approach every day.
You are not ready to succeed.
Learn to listen when people talk.
You'll be amazed what you'll learn.
- Watch their lips
- Observe their countenance
- Mark their words.
It might just save your life, business relationship or career.
Listening is key to communicating.
You have control over how you react.
When people annoy you.
When people are arrogant to you.
How you react has a permanent consequence beyond that moment.
So take control.
This is why you’re not climbing the ladder.
Why you’re stuck in one position for so long in your job.
Why you’re not in the rooms that matter.
Simple,
You don’t have the right friends.
People to hold your hands up.
People to introduce you to those that matter.
Your network is your safety net.
Life will throw challenges your way.
A strong network gives you:
– support
– advice
– and new opportunities
when you need them most.
Start building it today.
You’ll need it tomorrow.
Confidence changes everything.
It’s the reason:
• A good idea gets funded.
• A promotion gets awarded.
• A relationship gets built.
Your belief in yourself shapes how the world believes in you.
Start betting on YOU.
Focus is the gateway to growth.
With it, you can:
• Master new skills.
• Build lasting relationships.
• Achieve goals faster.
Without it?
You’ll spin in circles.
Decide where to direct your focus this week. Make it count.
You can fake confidence for a moment, but real confidence?
It’s earned by:
• Overcoming challenges.
• Gaining experience.
• Learning from mistakes.
Don’t rush the process.
Confidence comes from putting in the work.
Loneliness is a warning light.
It’s telling you to reconnect, with others AND yourself.
Call an old friend.
Join a community.
Reach out to a mentor.
Don’t ignore the signal.
Do you know who your top 5 connections are?
These are the people who:
• Encourage you to grow.
• Challenge your ideas.
• Open doors to opportunities.
Nurture those relationships.
They’re priceless.
Want to build confidence fast? Focus on:
• Your posture: Stand tall.
• Your tone: Speak clearly.
• Your action: Do the thing you’ve been avoiding.
Confidence is a habit you can practice daily.
Your environment shapes your focus.
To eliminate distractions:
– Declutter your workspace.
– Set your phone to “Do Not Disturb.”
– Use noise-canceling headphones or white noise.
A focused mind thrives in a distraction-free zone.
Confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s quiet assurance.
It says:
“I can add value here.”
“I have something meaningful to offer.”
“I’m ready to try, even if I fail.”
Confidence attracts people because it feels authentic.
Most people fail at connecting because they focus on what they can GET.
Flip the script.
Focus on what you can GIVE:
• A recommendation
• A helpful resource
• Encouragement
Start giving, and the right people will show up.
Want to meet people who inspire you?
Show up where they are:
• Industry events
• Online communities
• Networking groups
Then engage with genuine interest.
Success is about proximity.
@ItsTibor I think we agree on the fact that they are not above you as a person.
But 2 things.
1. Praise is different from ass-kissing. Some who is exceptional deserves to be recognised. If you talk about them, that's praise.
But 2 things.WAYS remember how you make them feel. Use praise.
Building confidence is simple, but not easy:
• Start small.
• Celebrate tiny wins.
• Show up consistently.
Growth compounds when you believe in your ability to succeed, even in small ways.
This is how you turn small talk into a real connection:
Be genuinely curious.
Find common ground.
Ask follow-up questions.
Connection is about depth, not surface.
Dig deeper.
The #1 mistake when networking?
Thinking it’s transactional.
Great connections are RELATIONAL.
Invest in people without expecting immediate returns. Relationships compound over time.
