@GMB I honestly think that what this completely off-topic debate highlighted most was that mothers feel judged whatever we do. Bottle feed, breastfeed, combi-feed and that actually, none of us feel supported to simply feed our babies in the way that works best for our families 😔
@George_Blows @cdog10ncfc@GMB Of course you can buy your kids gifts! This debate was about spoiling children though, which to me is obviously not a good thing…really surprised that so many people wan to spoil theirs! Bizarre😅
@JackAfccc@GMB There’s a huge difference between spoiling your child and getting them no gifts at all. Why do they have to be spoiled? Why not just loved, full stop?
@TheOldMan2003@GMB I definitely don’t see little treats like ice cream as spoiling your children, but buying them whatever they want all of the time creates entitled, self-centered adults. Disheartened to see how many people seem to think that this doesn’t matter 🤷🏽♀️
@JamieHoskins15@GMB Genuine question, have you ever considered where those toys end up after they’ve been played with & discarded? Or do you just not care?
@alexmaccaroon@GMB@iamtomskinner Ha ha! I’m not blaming Tom exclusively for the GPGP 😅, but I am using his example of rampant consumerism as a significant contributing factor. So shocked to see that so many people think that a huge pile of gifts matter more than the world we live in 🤯
@cdog10ncfc@GMB Enjoy your holiday & I will enjoy empowering as many mothers around the world as I can to breastfeed on their own terms for the benefit of their families ✌🏽
@cdog10ncfc@GMB And who cares what happens to the world that we live in, huh? Pollution? Plastic wastelands? Who cares, as long as I can lavish material gifts in my kids 🙃
