Randy played for the @EvilleOtters when I worked there. Got to talk to him a couple times and he is such a genuinely nice dude. Couldn’t be happier to see the Otters back in the bigs, especially with the Reds. Congrats man.

@LucasWCorley @Zane_Clodfelter @SWI_Sports Personally I wouldn’t mind that. If they gave a ‘courtesy of’ that’s a lot different. At the moment, posting photos without giving credit means people must assume SWI took those photos. It’s not hard to ask for permission.

@LucasWCorley That’s fair. I don’t speak for those people. They can think whatever they want, but being in the ACC didn’t make their schedule any harder and it didn’t suddenly make their players better.

@LucasWCorley But if the only downside is people will kick us out of the playoffs for 1 loss then that’s not a good enough reason to join a conference.

@LucasWCorley But if they weren’t in the ACC this year they would be going into the CFP with 0 losses. Conference championship games are a meaningless money grab that puts student athletes in danger for a meaningless trophy. ND doesn’t need that.

@LucasWCorley Conference championship games don’t matter to me. What being in the ACC this year means is now we have to beat Clemson not once, but possibly 3 times if we meet in the playoffs. It means now when selecting the playoff seedlings ND might have 1 loss instead of 0.

@LucasWCorley Right. But with the 4-game ACC schedule we already had, Clemson might have been on there. So what did being in a conference earn them this year?

@LucasWCorley And I typically don’t. But by that same logic, there are several people this year who will keep ND out if they lose to Clemson in the ACC title game. So same 1 loss season, just now in a conference, but still have people saying make a harder schedule.

@Zane_Clodfelter Not sure. Just closed shortly after I moved to Evansville. The tutoring lab I worked at in school went there every week.
