AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF OYO STATE.
Subject: Urgent Appeal Regarding the Safety of Educators and Students and the Premature Directive to Resume Schools.
Le mari de ma sœur apprenait à son fils la prière en groupe. On s’est tous mis derrière lui, et le petit devant nous en imam
Il commence Al-Fatiha, puis se retourne : « Vous voulez Al-Ikhlas ou An-Nas ? »
What doesn't kill you makes you
ghost all your friends,
lose your appetite, rot in bed all day, lose your academic potential, overthink everything at 3am, stop replying to people you actually love, lose interest in things you used to enjoy, feel tired even after doing nothing
Why is no one taking the fact that a senator was exposed for allegedly having relations with terrorist serious … why hasn’t he been arrested and investigated yet?
Do you know that Ochacho gifting peller a house generated more reactions/traction from Nigerians more than the revelation linking Sen. Buba to terrorism?
We’re a very useless and stupid generation.
suicide is the saddest thing ever. do you know how dark your thoughts and feelings have to be to get to that point? Praying for anyone dealing with silent battles smh
i hope you believe that you can still make a beautiful life for yourself even if you lost many years of it to grief, or darkness, depression, or a wound that wouldn’t close
THINGS YOU'LL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW:
- someone out there once fell for you and never told you.
- you made a strangers day by being you.
- someone still remembers something kind you did years ago.
- you’ve been the reason someone kept going.
- your name has come up in conversations about the best person someone knows.
- someone defended you when you weren’t in the room.
- there’s someone who checks your messages and smiles.
- your life inspires people who will never say a word.
if you're kind and patient with strangers but lose your temper the moment you walk into your own house, you're performing for strangers while punishing the people who actually matter. If you're giving your best smile to your colleagues, but giving your tired version to your parents, you're saving your energy for people who will forget you tomorrow. If you're listening to everyone else's problems but have zero patience for the people who actually know you. You're seeking validation from the outside world instead of protecting the love you already have. You act your best for people who don't matter because you're afraid of what they think. But you give your family the leftovers, lower your efforts and mistake comfort for carelessness. Remember the world only loves you as long as you perform, but the people at home are the only ones who stay when the show is over.
