@bunnyspongebob@Beirry_27@lepplayer@mooncatvivi What I mean is for somebody that isn’t already doing their hobbies, I’m not sure how much free time they’re gonna start devoting to it. I think it’s just cope again. Again that just reinforces what people already do.
@bunnyspongebob@Beirry_27@lepplayer@mooncatvivi You should look at the stats with retirees. It’s kind of eye-opening. You just fall into the same routine just amplified. If you weren’t already doing this, you’re probably not gonna do it if you have more free time. Lol it’s just cope IMO
@bunnyspongebob@Beirry_27@lepplayer@mooncatvivi I think the idealized version people have themselves when I quit work or if I have more time I’ll automatically pick up a book or a paint brush and I’ll live my dreams out! It’s just not true. I think it’s largely a myth, most people are cogs. That’s OK. Work gives people purpose
@Beirry_27@lepplayer@mooncatvivi I mean you’re 65 you’re not at decrepit old person, are you getting older in years yeah sure most people just kinda sit around and play golf. I think a lot of people get bored. I think most people have work that’s it. That’s the extent of most people’s lives.
