I’m of the opinion that all coaches these days are fired prematurely. It’s a modern-day epidemic. In fact, I truly believe nearly every terminated coach of my favorite franchises could have been kept for two-ish years longer and their respective teams might have improved.

Am I the only #STLCards fan that liked Mike Shildt and thought he was unfairly terminated? He focused solely on fundamental baseball and had an incredible amount of respect for the organization. Most likely one of the biggest mistakes this FO has ever made.
