@_JordanDecker Why are we making such a big deal about this, who fucking cares about a rookie lap? I guarantee mckenna could care or less if Bob is doing his pre game routine at centre ice.
@PuckLineNews Leafs bottom 6 for sure, Montreal’s isn’t bad by any stretch I just think Toronto’s is better. Line 2 I’d also give Toronto, not by much, banking on mckenna to perform well, but nylander and JT are also proven elite talent. But Montreal’s line one is better for sure. Overall leafs
@IceMetrix I feel with reinbacher and the bottom pair having little to none NHL experience, doesn’t that make this d core somewhat weak? Especially in a division with some pretty solid cores like Tampa and Florida? Not trying to harp on the canadiens or anything just curious
@hockeyJ82@spittinchiclets Yes that was a big issue, and I agree if they can stay healthy it will definitely increase their chances. Just hope that with all the new faces they can build chemistry quick and not start out slow. With the Atlantic being how strong it is they can’t fall behind early.
@hockeyJ82@spittinchiclets Goaltending in buffalo is also a big question, I don’t see their goaltending breaking out like it did last year. If they find a way to get hellebuyck, then that ultimately pushes them up. But I agree that out of those teams buffalo is the lowest
@hockeyJ82@spittinchiclets I agree that buffalo losing those pieces does make them step back a bit, no longer winning the Atlantic. For Tampa I think it’s similar to what people thought with Boston for years, the were getting older and people doubted them, but ultimately made playoffs.
@Itz_NKA@spittinchiclets Yes for sure, like you said they have to hopefully mesh/click well with each other considering how much they reshaped the team. Were as most of the other teams have built chemistry with each other for years. Hopefully they can build chemistry quick and hit the ground running.
@Itz_NKA@spittinchiclets I’m a diehard leafs fan, I’d be more than happy if TOR made it. It’s just the Atlantic is the strongest division in the NHL and most of the teams have improved or stayed the same. Like I said it’s possible but it won’t be easy, we need a lot of players to bounce back
