Kiwi lay large eggs for their size. A Kiwi's egg is around 6x bigger than those of other birds of similar size. They don't look after their chicks once hatched - I'd feel like doing that if I'd laid an enormous egg...

The White Bellbird is the world’s loudest bird. Its squawk hits volumes of 125 decibels, the same as a pneumatic drill! I’m not sure if it’s as loud as my children when they argue.
