@Nadi_alkhayr @Jahilterminator @AxadJimco the jizya was more burdensome early on, and eventually it become much easier to afford. the jizya was typically 1-2-4 dinars per year from umar to the mughals. however wages increased as time went on from inflation and whatever else making it cheaper in relation to wages.

@Rashiq__Shahzad Dude all history pre 1800s isnt "neat" its piecing together what evidence exists, and the evidence that exists show that as time went on the wages increased while jizya *typically* remained at 1/2/4 (12/24/48) making it much more affordable hence less people had to convert.
