@TeamYouTube Orfium publishing (@OrfiumMusic) are putting copyright claims on my music on YouTube. They say they are claiming assets on behalf of MCPS but I contacted MCPS today and they say they've never heard of them. So Orfium/Hexacorp are abusing Content ID to commit fraud.

This has also received a CID claim but it doesn't say who from. I've disputed but it shouldn't be getting any claims because it's on my allowlist.

@TeamYouTube I'm a musician and one of my clients keeps getting YT copyright claims from Hexacorp Music Publishing for my own music. I've never heard of/signed up to Hexacorp so I don't know why they're claiming on my songs. My music is managed on YT by AdRev/Fuga. What do I do?

They all have false claims on from Hexacorp.

@TeamYouTube @edwincov @TeamYouTube you requested URLs of the videos getting false claims which I've provided above. Can you look into these please. Hexacorp are putting claims on my music which is only managed by AdRev/Fuga so they have no right to claim on them and appear to be abusing your system.

@TeamYouTube Hi again, I've provided URLs of the affected videos as requested. Can you tell me why Hexacorp is placing claims on these please? My music is managed by AdRev/Fuga on YouTube and my client is on a registered allowlist so shouldn't be getting claims. I don't know who Hexacorp is?

@TeamYouTube Thanks, I'm aware of how to dispute but that isn't the problem. Disputes are being left for the full 30 days until they auto clear but they keep putting the same claim on the piece of music which I own. The track title is correct but I don't know HexaCorp and they own no rights.

@TeamYouTube Thanks but I know that's not what's happened here. Every so often there are glitches with AdRev's system and I have to contact them to get them to manually clear Content ID errors. I'm stuck now that they won't reply this time though.

@TeamYouTube Thanks, I'll delete that post (although their email is publicly available on their website). My client is getting content ID messages about my own music even though they're on an allowlist. I've had this happen before and FUGA are usually good about fixing it.
