@Themadxdraws It's really insane when I was growing up the narrative was "Men can wear dresses, and that's perfectly fine", now the narrative is "Men can't wear dresses, they are all clearly women". I've encountered so many times it baffle that somehow we made a complete fucking u-turn.

@vincent5126 @nbodo222 I also love how Soken retroactively fixes a "problem". The Arancars had a scientist, The Shinigami had a scientist but the Quincy didn't. Which if you didn't want to repeat yourself self is fine, but I love how it changed from "They have no scientist" to "They had one, he left."

@ReviewsPossum I am very AI neutral, it's very much a case by case for me but I think one of the strongest cases for the AI art is art crowd is the "Ash Baby" meme, you will see people that fucking despise AI use it. I legit do think there is great argument for it being art despite it being AI

@Crowmaonwellth Sort of related makes me think of how you'd technically be right by calling PS3 "Retro" 2006 is nearly 21 years ago. In 2006, 1985 (NES) was 21 years ago which I would assume people were calling retro at the time. Obviously I wouldn't as retro isn't just age, but "vibes"

@hariburger I honestly wonder if the main reason why Scott did the redesign was simply to try and make him "scarier". Took the the "Jumpscare isn't scary" to mean the design as part of the reason. When in reality Spring Trap's design is a fucking masterclass.

@AngryBanan77 @theindiedevotee The thing with Yammy is explained I think either by her power, or Kisuke it failed on Yammy as she lacked killing intent. As with everything in Bleach intent matters and Orihime is just someone that dosn't want to hurt people so she holds back, without realizing it.

@foolyoldaccount I was born in 2005, and VHS was a staple of my childhood, I didn't have internet or cable. So we just watched a lot of movies. We had Free VHS at the library or cheap ones at Good Will. Literal perfect image of why physical media is amazing. It was like this till I was like 14

@IDsFantasy Scott has gone on record quite a few times saying that after the first game he planned at least the basic outlines uptill Fnaf 4, and possibly Sister Location, and I believe him there there isn't a moment "That came out of nowhere!" In those games besides maybe Springbonnie.

@marksrecroom To me it's sort of like people who have Re:Zero, Overlord, Tanya, and Konosuba as their first isekai. They are built around the concept of you already knowing the genre, so watching them first is so werid. Gotta watch some trash first to appreciate them lol.

@demdemon1776 @yankspilled Literally what I did in History and English. Hell that was the huge thing about "The Jungle" unit, helping build connections of the book and the time period by having History focus on that time.
