It's our third wedding anniversary today🤗
Hi Barbie, Thank you for choosing me every day & for building this life with me. I’m grateful for who we’ve been, proud of who we’re becoming & excited for all the years still ahead of us. I love you.
Faith is not just believing God. It is obeying Him, even when obedience is costly.
Jesus says anyone who follows Him must count the cost. Faith demands priority. God must come before family ties, personal comfort, and self-preservation.
Faith that costs nothing changes nothing.
You cannot use faith to escape God’s will.
Many of us have prayed for things God refused, and later thanked Him for not answering, because what we wanted would have harmed us.
Faith is not insisting on your way.
Faith is trusting God’s way.
Every faith journey must sit within two boundaries:
• The finished work of Christ, because faith cannot receive what grace did not provide.
• God’s specific plan for your life, because what God can do generally is not always what He will do personally.
Look at the heroes of faith.
Their hope was not self-made.
What they hoped for was first shown to them by God.
God spoke, revealed His will, and they responded with obedience.
Many of us do the opposite.
We tell God our desires and then expect Him to endorse them.
Faith is not the ability to design your own future with good wishes. God is not committed to bringing your desires to pass unless those desires are captured within His revealed counsel.
That you like it does not mean God promised it. If God didn’t will it, it is not faith.
