31. Cumbres Borrascosas.
Cuarta vez que leo el que es mi libro gótico-romántico (aquí estamos hablando de la época literaria del Romanticismo) favorito gracias al libro del mes de @thebookclassics 🤍
Creo que hasta me he quedado corta en mi reseña.
The Introduction does an amazing job of articulating the polar forces of Confucianism and Taoism.
Not to dismiss the value of Confucianism & its philosophy, but this intro really emphasizes the importance of Taoism as a rebellious force against rigid authority.

Just for fun, I want to do a thread reacting to one of my current reads, Chinese Fairy Tales and Fantasies, translated edited by Moss Roberts!
I'm reading it for @thebookclassics, and it's really illuminating so far.
May TBR!
If a couple of these look familiar, it's because I didn't finish them last month 😅
The Argonautica is for @antiquitybc, and Chinese fairytales and fantasies is for @thebookclassics. Greek & Chinese mythology are huge interests of mine, so I'm stoked!
