Watching 'Our Holiday at Bridlington 1937' on @TalkingPicsTV I noticed a small trawler/drifter flying an RAF pennant and its name, Kernoozer.
This vessel was based at Bridlington to maintain the target range at Skipsea/Cowden.
A certain Air craftsmen Shaw being based their 😉

Most service life is boring & mundane with obvious exceptions.
