The 'you choose' story workshop was great! Thanks @the2steves for your inspiration-the kids were excited that you'd tweeted! You can see the stories coming together-plans, writing and even illustrations. The lift-the-flap mechanism meant it was easier to keep track of the plots!

Tell kids not to worry about their spelling when starting to write. Its more important to get their ideas down. Someone (or dictionary/spellchecker) can check spellings, but can't get ideas out of their head! Use the most ambitious words you know! #amwriting #TLBwritingtips

First #mathsmarvels workshop @thelearningbridge today. We were talking computers with binary numbers. Puzzles, patterns and The Binary Rubber Glove of DOOM. We even did some sewing (threading our binary birthdays or names in beads!). Action packed and nobody wanted to leave!

Did you know that collaboration with others is one of the most motivating factors in successful writing for children? No surprise then that the kids at this weekend's Scribblers workshop loved being able to discuss their ideas and chat while writing. #kidswritingtips
