@AmericanAir I’m tired and feel awful after your “solution” to put me on 2 flights and in a hotel after you cancelled a direct flight due to a crew member not showing. This is a terrible day of travel that lasted hours longer than it should have.
@AmericanAir after a cancelled flight, I’m boarding a second plane after only 3 hours of sleep in a complimentary hotel. I didnt get a full refund on the hotel I would’ve got a full night of sleep in. And you all game the system by citing “weather” as the reason when it was crew
I went to go see Rick Warren’s tweet apology to Christian women and was saddened by the comment section- full of hatred.
He shares good news but these people would rather stay white-washed tombs.
This is pretty crazy. 14 years on Twitter and now this platform is owned by the world’s richest man who is kookoo and we all probably should jump Twitter ship.
Who else, when you finally get an excel formula to work right, sings Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow for several minutes over and over?
Anyone?

What if loneliness isn’t an indication that there’s something wrong with us? What if the pain of loneliness is like the pain of hunger, an indication of need not of deficiency? Great article by @jdgaboury https://t.co/yGhLje0rV3
Look, I think @thechosentv is amazing. But I must confess, @shaharisaac’s biceps are like at least 10% of the reason I watched in theaters last night. Christian TV still thirst traps. Just sayin.
'Why are you single? Just because. However we answer that question, what's more important than WHY we are single is how we live as singles'.

Looking into the eyes of another human being long enough might produce love in us in some surprising ways.
This is what contemplation does. It helps us trace the presence of the God who is love.
At the end of the day, we all want to be loved and to love. And there’s many ways to do that, aren’t there? Most love isn’t sexual. Most love isn’t even familial. We have to learn to be better friends to one another. Friendship is vital.
I often feel like a spectator here- watching arguments over topics that mean something to me, but arguing with strangers on the internet is so low on my list of priorities. A priority I do have is figuring out how to engage with people about singleness and the church.
And that’s just the base of the issue. Throw in patriarchal beliefs and practices, and you’ve got singles feeling like the American evangelical church is the least safe community for them to be in. Because in a lot of cases it is. So they leave.
