@lfcG122 It’s one of them ones. it was too early tho. The football was like Slot’s. The Toney and Rashford sub was essentially the Konate for Chiesa one last season lol. People calling for him to be sacked are over zealous tho. At the end of the day Messi switched on, it is what it is.

@the_comedown @asim_lfc @TheKopHQ 14 games do not make you prem proven. Rayan has a £120m+ release clause, with a drastically worse CV. Barcola has rammed every top prem team in the last few years in the UCL, faces low blocks in Ligue 1 and is still only 23 too. Barcola was also better at the World Cup. Less risk

@xasila7 @joelataldi @CraigYB1989 @sbzcomps @rajsinghchohan Virgil and Jacquet’s line breaking will be key to getting the ball into Wirtz and Szoboszlai (sometimes through second balls), just like Senesi’s was for Bournemouth. I have no doubt we will be miles better next season.

@joelataldi @xasila7 @CraigYB1989 @sbzcomps @rajsinghchohan When I say accelerate I mean pass quickly. He can at least do that. Snappy passes, which are certainly in his range set. If he will be an 8 he has to do more than pressing lol. He also has immaculate ball striking which we need to capitalise on.

@xasila7 @CraigYB1989 @sbzcomps @rajsinghchohan He should be our Alex Scott essentially box to box like you said. However last season he kept slowing the attack, I saw a clip where he stopped 4 counter attacks in the same match when we were drawing/chasing the game. He needs to accelerate play.

@donthereddragon @BallKnollyTop1 @rajsinghchohan That's not how it works tho. Some players hit the ground running while some hit it jogging. Wirtz certainly showed glimpses of what he can do last season, and Iraola's fast paced clever football is perfect for him. Whenever he accelerated play last season, no one was on it.
