Last Friday, I brought to an end my 7-year journey as a medical student at KNUST.
Over the years, the different experiences, challenges, bonds and milestones have become lifelong memories.
It has been a long journey, but one I am deeply grateful for. All praise belongs to God🙏
The media is part of the problem too, wallahi. There’s severe flooding and you’re interviewing Kwesi Botchway. Is he a flood management expert? Is he an engineer? What exactly is he supposed to tell us about the causes or solutions? At times, it feels like we’re more interested in political commentary than hearing from the people who can actually explain what’s happening.
The World Cup absolutely mogs every other sporting event. It’s what the Olympics wishes it was X100.
You’ve got Europeans road-tripping across America and having their minds blown by Buc-ee’s and Bass Pro Shops. You’ve got a small Kansas town falling in love with an Algerian club that chose Kansas City as their homebase. You’ve got South Korea training in Utah to prepare for the altitude in Guadalajara.
For one month, the whole world forgets we’re supposed to hate each other over differences that barely matter. It’s the closest thing we have to world peace.
A TRIBUTE TO DR. ABIBOYE CHEDUKO YIFIEYEH
With deep sorrow and profound respect, I pay tribute to a remarkable man, Dr. Abiboye Cheduko Yifieyeh, whose life was a shining example of service, excellence, and compassion.
Dr. Yifieyeh was not only a dedicated paediatric surgeon and educator but also a devoted pastor. He served both in the healing of the body and the nurturing of the soul, touching countless lives through his medical practice and his ministry. His commitment to helping others was more than a profession, it was a divine calling he fulfilled with humility, wisdom and unwavering faith.
As a doctor, he brought hope and healing to many families. As a teacher, he shaped the minds and futures of young professionals. And as a pastor, he guided, inspired, and strengthened the spiritual lives of many. His life reflected true service, one rooted in love, kindness, and purpose.
He will be remembered not only for his achievements but for his gentle spirit, his compassion, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he encountered. His legacy lives on in the lives he saved, the students he mentored, and the souls he uplifted.
Though his passing leaves a great void, we are comforted by the impact he made and the lives he transformed. His work on earth may be done, but his legacy continues to speak.
Rest well, Doctor. Rest well, Pastor. You have fought a good fight.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Leonardo DiCaprio having just one oscar is actually such a crazy thing and so unrealistic
that's one of the best on screen actors the world has ever produced
