It's pathetic how you share fully loaded crap. Look at the data. There is no credit owed to Carney for job numbers, and it is a seasonal bump. Are you really a journalist?
Greg MacEachern: If [Pierre Poilievre] is blaming the prime minister for what he says is a "full-blown" recession, is he also going to give him credit for the 88k jobs? Highly doubtful.
It's amusing that you shared that poll, which seems biased propaganda, and criticized the CPC as crazy. There's no way the Liberals (or Carney) have that much support.
Ever since the Carney Recession was declared, the Liberals have been telling a lot of lies about it.
LIE #1: "The recession was caused by Trump's tariffs."
THE TRUTH: Donald Trump has imposed new tariffs on every single country on the planet, yet no other country has gone into recession as a result. Every single country in the G20 is seeing their economy grow right now, including Mexico, which has an economy that is just as dependent on the United States as ours is.
Additionally, as Mark Carney likes to point out, Trump has imposed lower tariffs on Canada than any country on Earth.
LIE #2: "The recession was caused by reductions in government spending."
THE TRUTH: Spending has significantly increased since Mark Carney entered office, with the deficit growing by $31 BILLION compared to Trudeau's final deficit. The Liberals cannot point to a single spending cut that would have resulted in this.
LIE #3: "The recession was caused by negative population growth."
THE TRUTH: Plenty of countries have negative population growth, including wealthy economies like Japan, Poland, Germany, and Italy. All of these countries are shrinking faster than Canada, and none of them are in a recession.
LIE #4: "The recession was caused by the Iran War."
THE TRUTH: Increases in global commodity prices as a result of the Iran War have raised demand for Canadian energy, which has a positive impact on economic growth in Canada.
The Iran War has increased prices in Canada and, while this is harmful to Canadians, rising prices does not explain why the economy is contracting in size.
LIE #5: "The recession was caused by anything aside from Carney Liberal policies."
THE TRUTH: Since entering office over a year ago, Mark Carney has grown Canada's deficit and built NOTHING. Global investors are realizing that Carney is not a reliable nationbuilder, and $20 BILLION has left the country as a result.
If Mark Carney actually fulfilled his campaign promises to unleash construction and infrastructure, our economy would be growing.
Carney did a photo-op in a Toronto grocery store claiming 12 million Canadians are being helped.
Did you receive anything?
Let’s fact-check him.
The “$533 grocery benefit top-up” is the maximum for a family of four.
Average payment: about $252.
He also claimed the 88,000 jobs were “all private sector.”
StatsCan:
+56K private
+20K public
That is not “all private sector.”
And while Carney sells this as help, food prices are up 27% in five years.
They put Canadians in the hole.
Now they want credit for the rope.
HOLY CRAP 🤯🤯 Durham Police announcing 46 people arrested AND 164 suspects wanted 🤯 MASSIVE criminal networks focused on criminal tourism
Literally travelling to Canada just to commit high profit CRIMES. Because they know they can, and then they just leave the Country 🇨🇦
This is disgusting.
Instead of striking another committee to have more meetings, this Liberal government must show backbone and resolve to eradicate antisemitism in Canada once and for all.
Charge them, convict them, and if they're visiting terrorists, deport them.
#BREAKING Canada adds 87,800 jobs, driving the unemployment rate down to 6.6%.
This was driven by private sector full time jobs.
These metrics blew every prediction out of the water.
This is great news for Canada.
Some "recession" we are having eh?
Have you noticed, because I have - any time bad news comes out for Carney and the Liberals 2 things happen:
1. Attacks on Pierre Poilievre escalate.
2. A poll comes out with Carney’s approval rating going up.
Very well coordinated damage control.
More than 200,000 Canadians spoke out on Bill C-9 because they were concerned about protecting fundamental freedoms, including freedom of religion and freedom of expression.
Their voices were heard.
The Senate recently rejected several amendments that would have taken the legislation even further, demonstrating the impact that engaged citizens can have on the democratic process.
@TamaraJansenMP
Is this my 40th Birthday present perhaps? Because I have been begging MP’s to do this for 4 years. You bet I already signed up. I’ve been paralyzed for life by my covid vaccine and have two separate neurologists who have said so on audio recording and in their Medical notes. I also have north America’s only trial by jury against Moderna. If you can help out by donating to the link pinned to my page I’d very much appreciate that. Let’s pray I get picked to finally talk to the liberals face to face!
After a terrifying murder of a teenager in Stoney Creek, it's been revealed two of the men involved are refugee claimants.
The Liberal Minister isn’t doing anything to make sure that government departments will deport these non-citizens that commit serious crimes, like murder.
Canadians have sent 240,000 postcards to senators urging them to oppose Liberal Bill C-9.
Until this morning, the Senate was hiding these postcards in a warehouse in Gatineau. This morning, they were moved to a Senate room, but they still aren't being delivered to senators.
