*Changing up the Schedule*
Every Thursdays, I will be checking out Demos (mostly from this past #SteamNextFest).
I plan to do this through the NEXT TWO MONTHS as I've got LOTS of them lined up that I want to check out!
RETRO streams will still be there! Mostly on Saturdays! 😉
Update: My bipartisan KIDS Act passed the House today by an overwhelming vote of 267-117.
Big Tech has had a free pass for too long. Today, that changes.
This is gritty grimdark Sci-Fi RTS, Dust Front RTS, set in a world of endless wars and mutant abominations!
Demo out now on Steam! https://t.co/flY0ZXL5TY

by solo indie dev @RtsDimon
So there's this indie developer who is making a top-down PvE extraction shooter, where you're an agent of a secret consortium investigating supernatural anomalies.
It's called No Such Place, do you want to try?
Race chunky low-poly bikes with late-PSX-style visuals, nail mid-air pitch control for clean landings, and chase fastest lap times on global leaderboards in DüRT: Motocross Championship, a racing indie game!

Wake up to a soul-screeching air-raid howl, fight back with ad-hoc weapons made from everyday objects, and survive wave after wave of strange enemies in ZAIBALY, a horror-comedy boomer shooter indie game!

IRONFIELDS DEMO OUT NOW!
Ironfields is an RTS built around capturing structures and controlling the map.
The demo includes a tutorial and 3 standalone missions made only for the demo — separate from the full game.

My demo for Cornered Cadavers is out!

If you love survival horror, fixed camera angles, and pre rendered backgrounds,
you should love it too!

Reminder that the Shothop Demo 🎮 needs your wishlist! We're adding leaderboards soon so you can see how FAST⚡️you actually are.
How fast can you restore the portal network? 🤔

It's perfectly valid to think that if you're paying $100 for a game, you get to 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 OWN IT...
At this point, if there are no planned discs...
I'm NOT buying GTA 6.
And, this is coming from someone that justified $100 price tag for just the Base game a year ago.
A new report has claimed that “at this point in time, there are no plans for Grand Theft Auto VI discs to be printed — not at launch, and not months after.”

I truly missed the days when a game came with an 𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐭/𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥
It was super cool to bust them out to read on the drive home to learn the BASICS of the game you just bought.
Nowadays, you just get a piece of paper with a code on it...
This is a SUPER chill, narrative-driven repair shop SIM set in mid-2000s Tokyo.
They even let you clean/repair iconic ATARI consoles that are officially licensed for this game.
(I got to repair an f'n ATARI 2600!!!) 💯
There's a demo for this game that is WORTH checking out!
This Nony GoMan is the most detailed gadget you can repair and restore in our game right now.
Remove buttons, wires, and the cassette compartment 💛

This indie game is a gold mining sim where you start with almost nothing and slowly build up a serious operation.
Dig through dirt, wash it for gold, upgrade your gear, and try not to go broke on fuel, repairs, and new machines.
It’s called Gold Mining Simulator 2. Follow @GoldRushTheGame for more updates!
Would you play this?

The GTA 6 discussion has just turned into people calling others broke to inflate their status rather than trying to understand the malpractice of it all.
What many are actually pissed off about goes far beyond GTA 6 not having a disc release. Once non-ownership is fully normalized, everything changes, and anyone with a brain understands this.
The near future is all connected technology leased to you in the cloud under strict usage conditions. This is actual reason for the RAM/storage shortage and data center explosion.
Consuming media will consist of navigating a hell of ever-changing digital storefronts with massive subscription fees and premium surcharges. Films and games will have personalized AI ads automatically edited into them, and censorship will be rampant as preservation becomes impossible.
You might say "Nah, people just won't accept that." and you'd be wrong, because most already have. Each time you see someone loudly advocate for not owning physical things because "Technology has advanced, bro!", you're seeing a person willing to accept this as a normal, or even desirable, future.
If you feel otherwise, it's time to get comfortable with using old tech, learning how to repair and maintain it, and taking back control over your tools and entertainment while you still can. Your life will be much better for it.
This is all just cosmetic slop...
Where are the 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 goods at!?!
People want a 𝐌𝐀𝐏 they can hang on their wall. They want a 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓/𝐇𝐀𝐓 they can wear, and a 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐋/𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 that they can look at on the car ride home after BUYING the game
Played this one during (and after) the Steam Next Fest.
I definitely RECOMMEND playing through the demo to 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟐!!!
It's a high-impact arcade 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭 '𝐞𝐦 𝐮𝐩 with a style that feels like it was inspired by the OG 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐞 games. 👊💯
Takeover 2 Demo is available on Steam (from Pelikan13) https://t.co/fX0GcZYRWY
"Take to the streets solo or with a partner in this fast paced, high-impact arcade beat ’em up."
