Today the camp community celebrates Camp Kindness Day – an event highlighting the practice of intentional kindness. Intentional kindness is an integral part of Camp Wapiyapi that can be seen in the campers’ smiles, connections, and friendships. Happy Camp Kindness Day!

After two amazing weeks of camp, we’re so proud to announce that not a single COVID-19 case was reported during the entirety of camp. We want to give a HUGE thank you to our medical professionals on site, as well as all who helped plan safety and precaution protocols.

Camp Wapiyapi provides an unforgettable summer camp experience for children facing pediatric cancer. Patients and siblings can let go of the restrictions of pediatric cancer and just be kids, while their parents take respite. We’re so thankful for your support. #campwapiyapi

According to Times LIVE, young children are at a greater risk of childhood cancer than older kids. Camp Wapiyapi allows for children as young as six to attend camp, thereby serving the widest range of ages in CO for children facing pediatric cancer.

What an EPIC day at the 2nd Kentucky Regional Day!

We hosted a group of adult cancer thrivers and caregivers at Bernheim Forest. Despite the cold this amazing group showed up for a bit of heart therapy and a hike in the forest! It was an incredible day celebrating LIFE.
