Hey guys. Giving a little update. I’m trying to be as active on here as possible but my mental health did take a turn due to trolls and multiple situations going on in my life right now. I’m trying to get back. Just know I support and love you all. Fight on warriors 💜💜
F I N A L L Y !
It is so confusing to explain PNES for fifteen minutes and finally have the other person ask, "Wait, are you talking about functional seizures?" 😭
Have you got any experience with or thoughts about using wearable devices to detect seizures?

Let’s talk about seizure triggers!
Not everyone understands what this means so it’s a good idea to unpack just what that is.
Knowledge is power!
What are some of your triggers?

#Epilepsy Sodium Valproate tomorrow Wednesday 8th July 2020, Baroness Cumberlege will publish her findings on #Valproate a anti-epilepsy drug (AED) which was prescribed for many pregnant females - but alas many of the babies that have born have serous disorders of the brain
#seizures and #epilepsy are NOT rare. Unfortunately 1 out of 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime while 1 out of 26 will develop epilepsy. This makes it more common than Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis combined. Welcome to our club!
Does anyone else get super nervous when big days such as a 3 month seizure free milestone happens? I keep feeling like I’m on the edge of one but I think it’s just anxiety. Does anyone else get this feeling?
Physical OR emotional pain doesn't just go away, sometimes we are just better at hiding it.

A positive state of mind can help any problem. Have a seizure and wake up, yeah you hurt like crazy and have injuries, and it just sucks overall but just remember when those bad seizure get you down, you woke up to live another day! Epilepsy didn’t steal that from you 💜
@dizzylas I’m also twice a day person. I’m from Canada but I could probably get it on amazon. At this point with quarantine, it doesn’t matter if it’s portable lol
I highly recommend pill organizational boxes. You also only have to fill them up once a week. It makes it super easy for you and if another person has to give you your meds. I find it just makes life easier so I thought I’d put it out there for my epilepsy family 💜
Having friends and family on which you can fall back makes a huge difference! How your friends or family supported you through your fight with #epilepsy? Is there something you wished they would have done different? Maybe we can learn from their actions. #EpilepsyAwareness
