@frsa_uk This is incredible. We have a Firefighter on our station who is still operational at 69 and will have served 40 years this September! I really admire these older chaps.
@NARU_org @YorkshireHart @SCAS_HART @WMASHART @SECAmbHart@EEAST_HART@NWAmb_HART @NEAS_HART @WALES_HART @jesip999@HARTSWASFT We recently deployed into a swah/con space scene where just one HART Operative was lowered into the risk area with a further operative as the top person. It worked seamlessly with mountain and cave rescue teams for a safe conclusion.

@Dr_Done_ But they must have a relevant paramedic qualification to be registered with the HCPC and call themselves a Paramedic. I know multiple paras that ha e taken this route and now work alongside our gp collegues to help patients. However I did have to google ayurveda medicine.
What better way to spend a icy cold snowy day than to get onto the river and practice swift water rescue skills! Fantastic day with @HARTSWASFT instructors skillfully sharing their knowledge to ensure we can operate safely in this environment. @NARU_Education #HART#MedTwitter
@ParaAndy90 One of the reasons I have heard is due to the risk of crews being exposed to multiple exposures in confined space (ambulance) causing possible issues due to side effects. It is also costly. However we carry it in our trusts HART.
@CliveBushGInstr @StuLittle1972 @NARU_Education @Rescue3europe Yes I agree, I have many years of experience in rope access, i was the equipment officer in my cave rescue team for 10 years and I'm a Firefighter . This was purely to demonstrate twin tension line work at the top. I just thought the photo was cool.
Patiently hanging around during my HART Safe Working At Height (SWAH) course. I really do love my job!!! #HART#NHS#AMBULANCE#Paramedic @NARU_Education #NHS
@StuLittle1972 @NARU_Education If @Rescue3europe, one of the lead training providers in the industry are teaching it, I'm inclined to listen to them. There has to be a point where you have to trust in the equipment you use. It's called a twin/dual/two tension system. It's the same we use in my cave rescue team
@jackgkennedy It looks decent but I don't think it's wonderful. It doesn't really save much time especially in stepping up from OPA to SGA then back down and in addition it seems to me to be extra weight on the SGA possibly dislodging it. However this is just my own humble opinion.
