@jurbed Great summary. I have also tested these wallets with similar results. Note that Muun is not a real Lightning wallet - it uses zero-conf submarine swaps to give the appearance of Lightning support. So it will have big problems when full RBF is deployed more widely.
@btc_remnant@bleskomat Complexity and price of components. Bills only means the overall build is much simpler, easier to produce, and thus more affordable.
@bjgraham420@bleskomat@arcbtc The open-source bleskomat-pos firmware works with either the Lilygo TTGO T-Display kit or a custom ESP32-devkit-based build using a membrane keypad. We're still working on the full product version which will be much easier to setup.

@sergioxxx1777@bleskomat Sounds cool. Could you open a pull-request to the bleskomat diy project? Maybe there are others out there with Apex bill acceptors collecting dust ;) Time to put that old hardware to work! https://t.co/8IismWrQHJ
@qecez Just a heads-up: I tried to "Make it yours" at https://t.co/JlMgSFvtWn but it looks like the service isn't able to generate new Lightning invoices - just shows "lightning:null" when attempting to pay.
@dusan_matuska@bleskomat@goodc0re You can connect the Bleskomat ATM to the Bleskomat Platform (a hosted service). Or you can connect the ATM to your own self-hosted (open-source) bleskomat-server instance:

And, hopefully soon, the bleskomat-server will be bundled as an app with Umbrel
@JavierOrtizMir3@BTC_LN@bleskomat@ChuckECheese And there are already many options available for buyers to use their debit/credit cards to buy bitcoin - on the internet, no physical device needed.
@JavierOrtizMir3@BTC_LN@bleskomat@ChuckECheese Selling bitcoin in exchange for fiat money via debit/credit card transactions is going to expose the seller to a lot more risk than physical fiat bills/coins. Bitcoin transactions = irreversible. Debit/credit = reversible.
@OnHodliday @fulmolightning@AthenaBitcoin@PayNoWayApp Sure, but as the linked article said, they were able to buy SIM cards using bitcoin without an ID. And what about enforcement? Even if they are able to connect a double-spend to a SIM + ID... Is that desirable or even possible for the ATM vendor / operator?
@fulmolightning@AthenaBitcoin Sounds like a pretty serious design flaw for machines which dispense cash. I'd be happy to verify the claims with the help of someone physically present in El Salvador.

@EricSirion Bounty to create a Chaumian e-cash system on top of #Bitcoin#LightningNetwork - "The third and final challenge aims to tackle a need for transactional privacy through a Chaumian e-cash arrangement to enable anonymous bitcoin usage for users." https://t.co/kQEWf1mVRt

@surfacePlasmon@BTCPuertoRico@bleskomat Yup! @karliatto from the @bleskomat team has come all the way from Czech Republic to @AdoptingBTC with one unit of the most recent Bleskomat ATM - which will be staying somewhere in El Salvador after the conference. More details on that to come soon ;)
59 blocks to go until the most significant upgrade to #Bitcoin in 4 years: #Taproot. Looking forward to see all the new projects that will be built because of this. Let's go! #Privacy#FinancialFreedom
