@NucleolusJr You cannot survive without the nucleus! This proves that the nucleolus is not a good candidate as president because it is heavily dependent on the nucleus. Us chloroplasts are able to survive on our own because we have our own DNA and ribosomes! @murphyapbio

Disturbances in the Endoplasmic Reticulum can lead to a condition known as ER stress. ER stress can lead to cell death if the ER is not further stabilized. Why trust an organelle that could possibly kill the citizens of Eukarya if a disturbance in the ER? @murphyapbio

Basically, lysosomes are like the garbage men. They both break down the waste. With all of that, the lysosomes become a waste themselves. They do not have another function, while us chloroplasts have multiple. #lysosomesarepracticallywaste @murphyapbio
